You posted 4,000 leaflets. How many turned into calls, scans, or orders? Without a link between the letterbox and your diary, you are guessing. Letterbox-to-lead tracking means tagging each drop so response shows up somewhere you can count.
Start with a tracked QR
Put one primary action on the leaflet: scan a QR to book, order, or claim the offer. Print a unique tracked QR per estate or offer test. Scans appear on a timeline. A bump mid-week after a Monday drop is a good sign post landed.
Keep your usual business phone number on the print. When someone calls instead of scanning, ask once how they heard about you and note the estate.
One clear action on A6 or A5. Multiple CTAs blur the results.
Use print tips so codes scan in hallway light.
Match landing pages to the leaflet
If the leaflet says "€5 off first order," the page after the scan must show the same deal. Trust and conversion both depend on it.
Tag leads manually at first
Ask new callers how they found you. Tag scan form leads with the estate name. Spreadsheet is fine for your first two runs alongside scan counts from flyerfly.ie.
When you see which areas pay back, print again before you widen the map.
